Giselle Racho, MD

“I believe that the process of healing stems not just from the competence of the provider, but also from a sense of confidence from the patient and their family that they are being properly cared for. To be able to achieve this, I understand that communication is the key between myself, as the point-person in the healing process, and all others who have a stake in the patient’s ultimate well-being.”

Get to know Me

“I know first-hand the many facets of compassionate care because I was a nurse prior to practicing medicine. I earned my medical degree with the Cebu Institute of Medicine in the Philippines. Prior to entering medical residency, I worked as a Cath Lab Nurse with the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring, FL.

I completed my Internal Medicine training with Tri-Health – Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.

I have been married for 10 years and have 2 daughters.  When I’m not healing patients, I enjoy traveling with my family, cycling, cooking, and volunteering at my daughters’ school”

Words I Live By

“If you cannot find the circumstances you want, you have to create those circumstances.”
