Get to Know Me

“I was born and raised in Canada. While growing up skiing in the Canadian Rockies, I earned my bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology with distinction from the University of Calgary. I went on to earn my Medical Degree from St George’s University, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine residency at St Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, Icahn School of Medicine in Paterson, New Jersey. I have been working at Florida Hospital Heartland since completing my residency.

I have extensive clinical and leadership experience, which includes working not only as a skilled Hospitalist physician but also as a Physician Advisor. I am currently the Medical Director of Clinical Documentation.

When I’m not healing others, I enjoy traveling the world and have currently traveled to 6 of the 7 continents. My traveling has included medical volunteer work in Tanzania and South Africa. I also enjoy drone photography, diving, and weight training.”
